Sanjukta Sen is a senior associate at James Corner Field Operations, New York, trained in both architecture and landscape architecture at the University of Pennsylvania. She has led the design of numerous large-scale urban waterfront projects, including Hudson River Park’s Gansevoort Peninsula; Newark’s Riverfront Park; Brooklyn’s River Street Waterfront and Domino Park; and Seattle’s Central Waterfront. Sanjukta was a 2018 Fellow for Innovation and Leadership with the Landscape Architecture Foundation, where she examined the role landscape architecture and open space can play in foregrounding resilience at urban waterfronts.
