Please join us for a community  in conjunction with the current Queens Museum exhibition and culmination of the year-long Unit 25: Building Culture, a transdisciplinary graduate design studio at the Spitzer School of Architecture.

This in-person conversation will delve into the research and speculative design work of the students currently showing at the Queens Museum. Over the course of a year, the architecture students have engaged with various space-based cultural initiatives in Central Queens that are leading the charge to create a city that cares about education, health, housing, work, and play. The cohort of students will be joined by their community partners to think about the ways in which architecture as social practice can become integrated in ongoing claims for equity and justice.
