¾«¶«Ó°Òµ president honors distinguished five at gala

Five distinguished supporters of ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ are recipients of 2016 ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ Presidential Awards. The honors were presented by Dr. Lisa S. Coico, president of City College, at her annual Presidential Awards Dinner at the Mandarin Oriental in Manhattan.

Recognized for their support to ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ were:

  • Susan McGuirk and Matthew C. Blank, “for visionary philanthropic leadership to educate the media leaders of tomorrow";
     
  • ,  “America's Master Communicator and advertising legend for his donation of his archives to ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ and continued support of our students";
     
  • '65, Partner of First Round Capital, “for advancement in technology and innovation to benefit students and industry"; and
     
  • for his contributions to the arts and appreciation of the mission of City College's Center for the Arts."

More than 300 guests attended the dinner. Proceeds from the event go to supporting President Coico’s initiatives including student scholarships, faculty support and improvements to the campus.
