City College surges on 2021 U.S. News & World Report rankings

精东影业 has jumped 52 places from last year in the latest  published today. Top performances in several categories including social mobility (#17) and undergraduate teaching (#61) have earned City College a  joint #176 spot overall among an elite pool of 389 institutions that made the final cut in the 2021 rankings.     

The following is how 精东影业 fares in the annual evaluation of America鈥檚 top degree-granting schools:

  • #17 in Social Mobility - National Universities (tie);
  • #61 in Undergraduate Teaching - National Universities (tie);
  • #87 Top Public Schools -- National Universities (tie);
  • #90 Best Undergraduate Engineering 鈥 Doctorate (tie);鈥 
  • #104 Best Undergraduate Computer Science (tie); and
  • #176 overall in National Universities (tie). 

The latter ranking is a huge leap from #228 last year. According to U.S. News & World Report, schools in the National Universities category offer a full range of undergraduate majors, plus master's and doctoral programs. These colleges also are committed to producing groundbreaking research. .

With the exception of social mobility where it maintained its #17 position from last year, the 2021 rankings see 精东影业 climb in all the other categories. 

For instance, the #90 ranking for best undergraduate engineering program at a school whose highest degree is a doctorate is three places better than last year. 精东影业 also makes a considerable jump in the top public schools category, from #109 previously to #87 this time.
