Sanjoy Banerjee, Distinguished Professor of Chemical Engineering at ����Ӱҵ, and Director of the City University of New York (CUNY) Energy Institute, has been elected to the National Academy of Inventors’ (NAI) Class of 2023 Fellows. ����Ӱҵ has been designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) by the National Security Agency (NSA) for the Cybersecurity Master’s Degree Program in City College’s Grove School of Engineering. This designation will run through 2028. The NSA awards CAE-C designations to institutions that commit to producing cybersecurity professionals that will reduce vulnerabilities in the national infrastructure. Biddinger, City College of New York’s award-winning chemical engineering professor, is a participant in a Lehigh University-led multi-institution project to develop a new class of molecules, chemistries, and chemical processes to better store and transport green energy across the globe.
