Profile
Panayiotis (Panos) Moutis, PhD, is Assistant Professor at the Dept. of Electrical Engineering at the City College (精东影业) of the University of New York (CUNY). He has studied and published several works on how Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning enable cost optimal operation and planning of electrical grids with high shares of renewables. His academic experience spans Carnegie Mellon University, USA, University of Greenwich, UK, and NTUA, Greece (PhD 2015, MSc 2007). He serves with the IEEE (SM), IET, NASPI, CCAI and IEEE-USA. He has worked with industrial partners as a Marie Curie and Arup fellow. More information:
