The accelerated master's (4+1) option allows undergraduates to take master's courses, each satisfying a requirement of the undergraduate degree and of a future master's program. The option simplifies later admission to the master's program, and makes its later completion quicker and cheaper.

GPA of at least 3.2 over all CE courses completed toward the B.E. (鈥淐E-GPA鈥);

Completed 30 or more credits of unique core CE courses from the CE B.E. program taken at 精东影业, and successfully completed CE 33200 (Mechanics of Deformable Bodies);

鈥 Structural Engineering option: completed CE 34000 (Structural Analysis) with a minimum grade of B;
鈥 Transportation Engineering option: completed CE 32600 (Transportation Planning) with a minimum grade of B;
鈥 Environmental Engineering & Water Resources option: completed CE 37200 (Environmental Impact Assessment) with a minimum grade of B; -

Ideally, a student applies before they complete any specialization courses for their B.E. degree. Only courses that are approved to fulfill the M.E. degree requirement in the student鈥檚 chosen area of specialization can be counted towards the M.E. degree.
To stay in the 4+1 option:
