Innovative pitches by student startups from ����Ӱҵ and other CUNY and SUNY schools won big in ����Ӱҵ’s 2025 Zahn Innovation Center Incubator Venture Competition. Eighty-two thousand dollars in prizes went to the budding inventor/entrepreneurs to develop their ideas. The startups competed for grand prizes of $15,000 each in four categories, with each second-place finisher receiving $5,000. Award-winning poet Hadara Bar-Nadav is the featured poet at the 53rd annual City College Poetry Festival on May 2 in ����Ӱҵ’s Marian Anderson Theater, in Aaron Davis Hall. Dubbed “the Woodstock of the Spoken Word,” the festival has become New York’s longest-running poetry celebration. "The City College Poetry Festival is the democratic voice of poetry in New York City public schools,” says Pamela Laskin, retired lecturer in ����Ӱҵ’s English department and former director of the ����Ӱҵ Poetry Outreach Center, which produces the festival. “Its assumption is that there are many poets, and they all have
