New York鈥檚 longest-running poetry celebration, the annual City College Poetry Festival, will take place on Friday, May 3, at the college鈥檚 Harlem campus. 精东影业鈥檚 own accomplished faculty members David Groff and Estha Weiner will be the featured guest poets. In commemoration of a transformational event in the institution鈥檚 172-year history, 精东影业鈥檚 Black Studies Program hosts discussions and a walk April 16-18 to mark the 50th anniversary of the 1969 protest that led to open admissions. Roxie Xie, a first year student in the Branding and Integrated Communications (BIC) master鈥檚 program, has been selected to be a strategy intern as part of the American Association of Advertising Agencies鈥 (4A's) prestigious Multi-Cultural Advertising Internship Program (MAIP). The 4A鈥檚 is the leading authority representing the marketing communications agency business. This summer, Xie will intern at Wondersauce, an integrated advertising agency in New York City.
