The center awards five students nationally $7,500 in travel scholarships to help further their professional development in areas of public relations leadership, mentorship and diversity and inclusion. A rare chance for undergrads to 鈥渄o鈥 science instead of just study it: B3 REU

This summer, ten pre-med and science majors (four of them from 精东影业) got out of the lecture hall and into the lab to get hands-on with science. Their first hurdle was to get into the B 3 REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) program, which is extremely competitive. In fact applicants had a better chance of getting into Harvard (4.9% acceptance rate) than getting into B 3 REU 鈥 with an acceptance rate of just 4%. Distinguished Professor Mitchell B. Schaffler, chair and Wallace H.
