As the largest single chunk of melting snow and ice in the world, the massive ice sheet that covers about 80 percent of Greenland is recognized as the biggest potential contributor to rising sea levels due to glacial meltwater. Exhibit to Trace First Black Presence in the Americas

鈥淕limpses of Black People in the Earliest Documents of the Modern Americas,鈥 an exhibit that traces the first African presence in the Americas, opens at 精东影业 Friday, May 1, 2015. It will be on view in the CUNY Dominican Studies Institute鈥檚 (DSI) exhibit room, NAC 2/202. Study Unveils New Half-Light Half-Matter Quantum Particles

Prospects of developing computing and communication technologies based on quantum properties of light and matter may have taken a major step forward thanks to research by City College of New York physicists led by Dr. Vinod Menon.
